Kealakehe Girls Volleyball Team Strives for Growth Amidst Early Season Challenges

The Kealakehe High School girls volleyball team is navigating a challenging start to their 2025 season, facing formidable opponents in the Big Island Interscholastic Federation (BIIF). Despite early setbacks, the Waveriders are committed to growth and improvement.

On August 13, 2025, Kealakehe hosted Konawaena High School in a highly anticipated match. The Waveriders displayed resilience and teamwork, but ultimately fell short against the Wildcats. This match highlighted areas for development, particularly in defensive coordination and offensive execution.
