The Kailua Village Parade Committee is thrilled to host the 2026 Kona Independence Day Parade & Fireworks Extravaganza in Historic Kailua Village, bringing thousands of residents and visitors together to celebrate Independence Day with aloha—showcasing our community’s spirit, culture, and pride.

This year’s celebration holds special significance as we join communities across the nation in commemorating the United States Semiquincentennial—a once-in-a-generation milestone honoring 250 years of American history, unity, and progress.

Our parade theme, “America The Beautiful,” will reflect many creative expressions.
